Marine Terminal

MPM has performed offshore marine terminal overhauls, loading line and mooring system maintenance, and decommissioning operations throughout the US West Coast, and Central America including over 150 operations at more than 20 facilities.  MPM principals have served as project manager and prime contractor for decommissioning of facilities including the Shell/Exxon El Capitan, Unocal Ventura, and partial removal of the Chevron Carpinteria, marine terminals.  Additional relevant marine terminal pipeline inspection, repair, and decommissioning experience can be found under pipeline services.

Vessel Mooring

MPM has performed mooring system decommissioning, installation and maintenance operations in Alaska, California, and Central America. More than 200 system overhauls have been successfully completed at more than 30 facilities, ranging in water depth from (-)25 FSW to (-)1250 FSW. Operations have included conventional ship mooring and platform back-down mooring systems, conventional refinery and power station marine terminals, along with CALM and SALM systems. Services have included design, developing project procedures, specifications, and onsite project management. In addition, MPM has generated operational procedures and agency documentation, and completed recovery of lost systems using grappling and/or ROV techniques. Recovery operations have been performed in water depths to (-)840 FSW and for systems weighing in excess of 60 tons.
